Skills

Ich bin u.a.

Nov'13 - Feb'16 | Stabilizing & sunsetting / or / revitalizing Travian Legends
  • Occupation/s | Agile Coach, Project Manager & Scrum Master
  • Description
    • This project was developed for ~10 years and still used some of the original code. It was very fragile and the development team was reluctant to change any code that was currently working. The Product Owner faced plenty of technical limitations and could not develop the project according to the customers needs. Therefore the responsible Director Travian decided to discontinue active development on the project after stability has been improved and overall amount of defects have been reduced (sunsetting). He hired me to execute that plan within 12 months.
    • After presenting the idea of working with Scrum, the team committed to the transformation and within one year, we had tailored all Scrum processes according to the teams needs, increased the velocity by 600% and were able to work on all parts of the code according to the Product Owners needs. This project was not discontinued and is still on the market to this day.
  • Scope

After interviewing every member of the project and introducing them to the agile principles we collaboratively committed to and achieved the new time line.
  • Scope
    • 1 director | 30 employees | 4 teams

  • Occupation/s | Product Owner & Scrum Master
  • Description
    • Throughout 2017 Travian Games GmbH attempted to develop a new corporate webpage which, due to legal implications, had to be released before the end of that year.
    • In September the CEO was not satisfied with the progress and approached me to assess if the release date was still likely. Unfortunately it was not and I was tasked to do whatever I have to in order to release a new webpage within 6 weeks that does account for all core requirements with an external development studio. We released in time.
