For our Client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert:

Overview of business area or project:
CISO CH & SUB, IWM and CST is a trusted advisor in Switzerland and for the SUB, IWM and CST divisions globally. We work together with Business, Operations and IT stakeholders to identify, analyze and evaluate information and cyber security risks, develop secure business practices, identify security objectives and metrics, support the timely risk mitigation and ensure the regulatory compliance. Our objective is not only to reduce the organizations exposure to security attacks but most importantly to enable the bank and its divisions to achieve their vision and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible to ensure for information protection and that data and IT systems of the bank are appropriately protected, while enabling technology advancements in line with business strategies.
The candidate needs to be capable for dealing with Managing Director level business and IT stakeholders across SUB, IWM, GCTO and other function. Since the role covers Switzerland from a regional perspective, the person needs to be able to negotiate in German and English language.
The person needs to ensure representing cyber risks in Executive Boards as well as Boards of Directors and therefore needs to be capable of translating technical messages into for business understandable messages. Further, the person needs to deal with various regulators on the topic of cyber security across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Overview of the department/team

Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:
1. Dealing with Managing Director level business and IT stakeholders across SUB, IWM, GCTO and other function.
2. Involvement with Swiss CID matters an advising to client facing organization and clients on the subject of cybersecurity.
3. The person needs to be able to negotiate in German and English language.
4. Be capable of translating technical messages into for business understandable messages.
5. Dealing with various regulators on the topic of cyber security across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
1. Deep cybersecurity knowledge
2. Master's degree in information and cyber security or an equivalent education and a minimum 10 years' experience
3. Experience and ability in handling delivery programs
4. Strong interpersonal skills you are used to lead a team for at least 5 years
5. Fluent in English as well as German
6. Good understanding of retail and private banking business.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
1. CISSP/CRISC/CISM certificates are an advantage.
2. Confidence to respectfully challenge stakeholders.
3. Dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and passionate about cyber security.
4. Italian and French skills are an advantage.
