Job Description:
Provide IT support remotely/on location for a biomedical research organization. You will be accountable for the provision of IT hardware, software and related processes support to guarantee optimal and accurate usage of the researchers IT workplace.
What we need:
Experience in IT support function experience within Pharmaceutical or scientific environment. Ability to Interpret, evaluate, and resolve, if possible, telephone inquiries pertaining to the functional operation of all installed software and hardware platforms supported by IT. Analyse simple to moderately complex inquiries, resolve problems when possible, Consult with IT professionals when the appropriate course of action is unclear, Alert user community when a major problem is suspected, Follow up on specific inquiries/requests to ensure user/customer satisfaction, Report procedures and make suggestions for improvements, Deliver IT training courses to researchers, Contribute to helpdesk procedures.
Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for general computing applications
Set operational specifications and formulate and analyse software requirements. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Experience Required:
