Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Basel. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a committed, highly motivated Solution Architect.
Your key responsibilities would be the following:
- Define, assess, and evaluate alternative solutions to ensure alignment with IT strategies, target architectures, and IT standards evolution
- Understand business needs and translate it into technical solution and system design
- Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
- Co-team with the Development Lead to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
- Review of system solution architecture against compliance with existing IT standards
- Work closely with project team members to oversee the solution, deliverables, and enhancements or modifications to the system
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Knowledge of semantic technologies
- Understanding of RDF, including schema design
- Understanding of model-driven architecture and how this can benefit development processes and ongoing operation of systems
- Hands-on expertise in HTML 5, CSS3, DOM and Javascript, XML, JSON, REST, and XSLT
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- 2-3 years of systems integration and/or implementation experience
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English
