Our client, a major name in the pharmaceuticals industry, based in Basel is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their team on a contract basis.
The candidate will be working alongside a team of information architects, project managers, business analysts, information leads and development leads to create and deliver bespoke solutions for the customer.
The role:
- Assessing and evaluating current solutions to ensure their alignment with the current strategies, architectures and standards.
- Understanding and translating the business needs into technical solutions.
- Coordinating with the development lead to develop specifications for development and integration requirements.
- Reviewing the system architecture with in accordance with the current IT standards.
- Producing a bespoke functional design document to meet exact customer requirements
- Overseeing the entire project life cycle from the initiation stages all the way through planning, execution and closure.
The candidate:
- At least 5 years of relevant solution architecture experience in large organisations
- Proven experience with HTML5, CSS3, DOM & JavaScript, XML, JSON & REST
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability of requirements gathering and analysis for solution design
- Excellent knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture and enterprise application architecture.
- Knowledge of and experience with Agile methodology and practices.
This position will suit a fluent English speaking candidate with around 5 years of solutions architecture experience with immediate availability.
