for a Windows Server Engineer (f/m)

Project environment

A global Swiss Insurance Company.


Tasks
• Help the Windows Server Engineering team to support the application & information platforms (Windows Server).
• Take care of various open tasks independently.


Requirements

• Knowledge about change management (RFC/RFD) processes.
• Deep and detailed knowledge about Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 R2 operating systems:
o File and SQL Cluster
o Print Server
o Microsoft license service
o DFS service
• SCCM basis knowledge:
o OSD process
o Package process
• Deep knowledge about virtualization:
o In special VMware
o Hyper-V is also preferred
o Basics about VDI (Citrix XenDesktop solution) would be beneficial
• Powershell basic level skills.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint.


Soft skills
• Good German and English skills, written and spoken.
• Experienced and flexible person, which fits in to the team structure.
