For a project at our bank client here in Zurich we are looking for a
Project Manager for an IT Platform Renewal (2761)
This is a challenging and highly independent position in an IT Private Banking and Wealth Management Products team in Zurich.
Key Deliverables
- Leadership and management of key projects from conception to implementation including the assessment of requirements and the definition of the project methodology and approach
- Opportunity to drive the implementation of new applications or processes in close collaboration with business project managers and senior management
- An ambitious team, whose pronounced team spirit, specific business expertise and high degree of methodological-conceptual skills guarantee an exciting working environment
Job Qualifications
- An above average university degree or MBA
- At least 5-8 years of work experience in project management
- Experience in leading sizeable projects and established track record in tackling complex issues & executing initiatives in the context of a large organization
- Good business know how within the financial industry. Trading and Execution and/or Regulatory knowledge is an asset
- Expertise in at least two of the following areas: business engineering, application development, business/IT architecture management, IT platform renewal
- Capability to interpret and compile information in order to provide stakeholders and management with adequate information
- An excellent ability to work collaboratively and manage various stakeholders across cultures in a global environment
- A profound knowledge and practical expertise in the application of relevant project methodologies, with proven track record in agile principles and methods (scrum, kanban) in integration with waterfall processes
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a strong plus
The ideal candidate also brings excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with the senior management.
