Responsibility/Expectations:
Assist PM/Master Scheduler/Quality Manager, Procurement Manager and Asset Management teams in managing all of the below:
  • Assists the Project Manager to assemble the required documentation (cost plan, project plan, risk log, etc.). Planning, coordinating and communicating project activities.
  • Assists the Project Manager with the development, monitoring and distribution of project specific plans, capturing and reporting progress against Project Plans utilizing project based planning tools.
  • Assists Project Manager with facilitation and recording of appropriate reviews prior to the completion of the relevant project phases.
  • Updates the Project Manager on maintenance, progress reporting and distribution of Project Plans utilizing project based planning tools
  • Assists the Project Manager/Master Scheduler in performing regular reporting of project progress "actuals against forecast: schedule; milestones; product cost; project cost and estimate to completion.
  • Assists the Project Manager and Team Leaders to co-ordinate activities with all functions to ensure that all milestones on the plans are achieved.
  • Checks progress on tasks being performed by the Project Team, other teams and third parties - questioning and challenging as appropriate.
  • Assists the Project Manager in collation and preparation of required documentation for completion of design for the specific site.
  • Supports the tasks involved with Project Management Plans, Facility Management, Project Reporting, and Gantt charts.
  • Assists the Project Manager to deliver assigned documents on time.
  • Monitors existing and new risks, and communicates to the Project Manager and Team Leaders
  • Performs what if analysis of projects to highlight opportunities for improvement as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Produces resource leveled plans and communicates all differences to Project Manager.
  • Maintains a project file/book throughout the development of a new project as evidence of due diligence.
  • Performs other work, as assigned.
