32 MS-SQL DEVELOPER; FINANCIAL SECURITIES; 6 MONTH CONTRACT
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will join the team responsible for the further automation and integration of several applications within the CFO area (Abacus, Hyperion, Financial Studio, GtMatch). This also includes the further development of the Securities Ledger system (Financial Studio) for certain functionalities (GL, Consolidation, Disclosure management, Cash recon)
- Your task will be to develop the new functionalities or enhance existing ones based on the requirements provided by the business analyst(s). The development is mainly database level in T-SQL.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure new development is made in line with the highest standards and fits within a general design pattern, and with the vision of the future Financial Accounting IT landscape.
- Take over responsibility for the whole life cycle process of the software developed
- Develop test cases and run unit and integration tests

REQUIREMENTS
- A good knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS.
- Prior experience in the Financial Services industry or an interest in Structured Finance.
- Experience with accounting software (or other securities processing software) is a strong asset, but no pre-requisite.
- Experience with the implementation of software is a strong asset.
- Team player, hands-on, result oriented, adaptable and motivated to work in a challenging and international financial industry and IT working environment
- Good analytic skills and willingness for continuous improvement
- Pro-active approach
- Fluent in English, German and/or French a plus
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position
