31 IT Finance Business Systems Analyst; Zurich; Contract 6 months
You will join the team responsible for the further automation and integration of several applications within the CFO area (Abacus, Hyperion, Financial Studio, GtMatch and others). This also includes the further development of the Securities Ledger system (Financial Studio) for certain functionalities (GL, Consolidation, Disclosure management, Cash recon etc.)
Your task will be to liaise and operate the link between the application developer(s) and Finance
Able to independently analyze business issues and to define specifications for IT development
Analyze existing finance infrastructure/workflows and drive integration process

REQUIREMENTS
- A good knowledge of Accounting/Finance.
- Knowledge of T-SQL or willing to learn, an interest in IT, databases.
- A strong analytical mind, able to quickly grasp new concepts and analyze data flows, system integrations etc.
- Experience with the implementation of new Accounting/Finance/Securities processing software is an asset, not required. (either in-house solutions, or any solution on the market such as Financial Studio, Summix, Avaloq, Abacus, Hyperion, SAP, SunGard, Midas, Microgen etc.)
- Knowledge of the dataflow of an accounting engine, General Ledger, Consolidation, disclosure management, financial reporting is a strong asset as well as a good understanding of structured products
- Experience in the Wolters Kluwer Financial Services product "Financial Studio"/"Summix" is a great advantage, but not a pre-requisite
- Experience with project management, development and testing of financial applications is an asset
- Team player, hands-on, result oriented, adaptable and motivated to work in a challenging and international financial industry and IT working environment
- Fluent in English, German and/or French a plus
- At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant position
