Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 2860 for a 3rd Level Supporter Storage Environment (f/m)Project environment
A global Swiss Bank.
Tasks
• Lead/participate in infrastructure projects.
• Third Level Support of EMC VMAX, HDS VSP with regional and global counterparts.
• Understand business priorities; adequately prioritize work accordingly to meet business objectives.
• Drive for improvements and implement them in regional or global scale.
• Communicate and collaborate with other internal partners for designing, planning and coordinating for implementation and ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
• You will be expected to drive the execution of innovative solutions.
• Write / update technical documentations for related infrastructure and installs which will include, but not limited to, the following technologies:
o ENV: SAN, Backup
o HW: EMC VMAX, EMC ISILON, HDS VSP, Cisco MDS, 3PAR
o OS: NXOS
Requirements
• At least 5 years experience in supporting Storage environment in a large enviroment.
• Solid understanding of a Storage System like EMC VMAX, HDS VSP is required.
• Also knowledge of virtualisation technologies, such as Vmware is required.
• Skills with some at least 2 of the following products are mandatory:
o EMC VMAX
o EMC Isilon
o Cisco MDS SAN Switch
o HDS VSP
• Ability to write scripts in administrative languages (for examples. Tk, Perl, ksh, sh, csh).
• Familiarity with fundamental networking / distributed computing and storage environment concepts and technologies – LAN, WAN, routing protocols, NFS, DNS, NIS, LDAP, SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, etc.
• Candidate has already worked & Implemented Storage as a Service would be for our interest.
Soft skills
• Posses excellent verbal and written communication skills. In German, English.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in the team.
• Ability to prioritize own workload on a daily basis.
• Project Management Skills is highly recommended.
