Database Administrator (DBA) - Microsoft SQL Production Support (m/f)
Database Administrator (DBA) - Microsoft SQL Production Support (m/f) wanted for our client in Zurich
The project:
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL DBA to join a dynamic database team and assist them in day to day operation of Microsoft SQL Server database products.
Your tasks:
- Performing all standard production services DBA activities including installation, performance tuning, backup and recovery
- Microsoft SQL Server production database administration
- Database installation, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Clustering, replication, database mirroring and log shipping skills
Your experience/skills:
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server , preferable exposure to 2012 with extensive SQL tuning skills
- Microsoft Windows Server knowledge
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory architecture and Microsoft Business Intelligence suite know how
- Understanding of backup and recovery solution including lightspeed
- Full understanding of RFS, Incident and change management service delivery principles ITIL
- Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
