One of our main clients in the banking industry in Zurich is now looking for a Business Test Manager to join their team.The role is for a senior testing specialist to lead the overall business testing effort for the regulatory trade reporting project. It will require the definition of a testing approach and strategy, planning and estimation of testing effort, the recruitment and mobilization of the required testing resources and the leadership and control of the subsequent testing effort. The role requires both the ability to define and manage the technical aspects of testing and also the ability to manage and coordinate a varied and demanding set of business stakeholders. This business test manger will be leading a team of testing specialists under the guidance of project and program management.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience of mobilizing and managing a business testing team and testing effort
- Ability to manage the functional scope of business testing within the context of a release/delivery
- Ability to plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks
- Ability to define test objectives, test policies, test strategies and test plans
- Lead and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases and test procedures
- Monitor, measure and report on test progress
Desirable/Advantageous:
- Banking/financial services background
- Recent regulatory project experience
- Knowledge and experience of financial derivatives
- Technical/IT background
- English speaking environment, German an advantage
