For our client in the Zurich area, Alpina HR Services is looking for an IT Infrastructure Network Engineer (m/f).
Background:
To strengthen the quality and support for the business we are looking for a candidate with a profound know-how in CISCO network infrastructure to extend our existing team.
As an experienced engineer in the below described areas you are responsible to architect, engineer and enhance/improve existing services to support related business requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
• Architecting and engineering Data Centre network infrastructure based on Cisco Catalyst/Nexus and MDS SAN Switches
• Provide profound know-how in distribution LAN and WAN environment based on Cisco Catalyst Switches and Cisco Routers
• Knowledge on Cisco WLAN infrastructure
• Knowhow in performing regular IOS/NX-OS, SAN/FCoE and VoIP operation tasks
• Network monitoring based on Cisco Prime
• Knowhow in Data Centre fibre and Cat6/7 cabling tasks
• Keep system documentations up-to-date
Required Experience:
• Operating CISCO equipment in an international environment
• Engineering of the above mentioned systems
• 4-6 year experience in network security engineering in a financial company, IT project work is also helpful
• Writing documentations in English (preferred) and German
Additional Experience:
• Technology all-rounder with good understanding of banking business
• Experience in Security Services, Authentication and Authorisation methods for SSL, VPN, IPSec
• Automation of operational procedures, applicational and technical monitoring and alerting
