On behalf of our client, a world-leading financial institution based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Database Administrator for a contract position.
Database Administrator, MS SQL, English, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
Do you have extensive experience with MS SQL Database, ideally within the financial business setting? Are you a team player with a lot of drive and ability to work on multiple tasks?
If so this could be the role for you!
You will be responsible for technical management and coordination of issues and projects primarily involving installation, configuration and on-going administration tasks on MS SQL databases. In addition to operational responsibilities you will provide various services to the developers as well as to application platforms within the company. This will include troubleshooting, tuning assistance and query optimization assistance.
For this role we are looking for someone with the following profile:
- Min. 5 years of MS SQL Database experience ideally within the financial sector
- Min. 3 years of production support experience
- Basic Scripting language knowledge
- Good English communication skills, German is nice to have
- Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services.
