Our Client has a diverse procurement application landscape including three separate E-procurement tools managing indirect spend. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate a cross-functional project team in the introduction of a new strategic, cloud-based sourcing operational application landscape.

The project includes implementation of the pilot location and related process changes. The project manager will ensure all phases of the procure to pay solution are delivered effectively following structured project management methodologies keeping focus on the business case and key business requirements.

Main tasks/activities:

  • Responsibilities will include tracking and monitoring the project deliverables, liaising closely with the stakeholders and sponsor to communicate project progress to ensure a strong alignment and buy in throughout the project.
  • Oversight and manage coordination of various work streams of internals, externals, change management, Accounts Payables, and Operational Procurement
  • Identify process and functional improvements to achieve key business requirements
  • Plan, execute, track and manage costs, schedule, and scope on the project
  • Possibility to lead other process improvement projects identified within operational procurement

Position requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of procure to pay processes including ordering, invoicing, receipts and payments
  • Strong demonstration of project management skills with previous experience in an implementation of an E-procurement solution preferred
  • Proven experience of developing and maintaining good and effective relationships with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and business partners
  • Knowledge of SaaS, especially in operational procurement
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function
  • Experience with supplier enablement strategy focused on ability to receive e-invoices
  • Experience working in operational procurement team with a focus on spend management, KPIs and processes management
  • Proven experience of decision-making in a complex environment.
  • Proven experience of contracting with and effectively managing Third Party suppliers.

Any other important information:

Planned initial engagement at 100% until end of March, with option to extend at a reduced percentage (60-70%) depending on project requirements

Location is Zurich but will consider Bratislava or London
