Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator/Zurich
Endeavour Recruitment has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Tivoli Storage Manager administrator to work for our Client in Zurich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- TSM server and client installation
- IBM Tivoli Storage manager software
- Daily TSM operations which will include restoration, backups, new client additions and missed/failed report generation
- Assist team with system build documentation, which will include hardware inventory at data centres
- TSM DR Configuration, documentation and testing
- Assist team with fiber and CAT6 cabling and labelling
- Coordinate with clients on tape deliveries and library organization
- Migration, support and management on distributed SAN environments
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experienced TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) System Administrator with experience on AIX and Unix platforms
- Good knowledge on backup hardware ( IBM TS3310 and IBM tape libraries)
- Good knowledge on EMC VTL ( virtual tape Library )
- ITIL process
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Unix platforms with VMWare Knowledge
