Excellent opportunity to work with a pharmaceutical company to help them negotiate and execute contracts with; academic centres, institutions, labs, and contract research organisations (CROs), and other vendors for Clinical Sourcing. After a significant introduction period you will be given the authority to identify and select potential vendors in line with category and operational strategies for specific projects or clinical trials and negotiates budget and contractual terms for contract execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Masters Degree, or equivalent with at least 5 years experience at a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical contract negotiation and preparation and familiarity with legal terminology associated with the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong negotiation skills/diplomacy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills/team player.
- Languages: Fluent English (oral and written)
Major Activities
- Initiates RFPs with Outsourcing Project Manager and clinical teams and works closely with clinical teams in reviewing bids
- Manages competitive bidding process in line with category and operational strategies
- Negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements and agreements with other service providers, including contract terms, pricing, payment schedules, generation of the final contract, and management of ongoing vendor collaborations.
- Lifecycle management of ongoing contracts managing amendments etc.
- Ensure contract execution according to process and SOP
- Maintain database information as needed (eg CLM, OMS, etc.)
- Intervenes, analyses, manages, and resolves business conflicts between "our company" and vendor.
- Participate in initiatives in support of Clinical Sourcing
- May function as primary point of contact for a specific service type, activity, or TA
- Contribute to Savings and Productivity targets
