Murex Developer in Middle-Back Office Environment
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Company. Our global Banking client based in Zürich, Switzerland, is currently looking for an experienced Developers in Murex Middle-Back Office Environment to join them on a long term basis.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
You will be participating in Design and write complex technical solutions to enhance current Murex Middle-Back Office environment in the area of IRD's and/PM derivatives using SQL and PL_SQL focusing on:
*Accounting balances calculation procedures
*Datamart reporting extractions
*Different accounting interfaces Configuring Murex to MQ queues in Murex and also for the Java interface.
*Liaison to Murex vendor. Describe in detail, liaise, and implement bug fixes and/or enhancements provided by the vendor.
*Performing software configuration management with responsibility for the build/release procedure using Perl;
*Provide 3rd level support for the existing production environment, support team and Back Office users. *Administer various test environments using UNIX and Shell Scripts.
*Work with DBA's to administer archiving and data objects control.
*Administration of source code.
*Provide technical support to functional team members.
KEY SKILLS:
*Murex, PERL, Oracle, SVN, MQ
*Linux, Windows
*Be able to write functional solutions needed to resolve easy to medium business issues in the area of OTC derivatives.
*Good knowledge of the business and be able to suggest improvements to the existing business environment.
*Knowledge in SVN
*OTC derivatives (FX Options, IRS, CDS) is a nice to have
