For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Role description:
- We are looking for a senior developer to work primarily on Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The Standard Reporting part of the application uses reports aligned to business subject areas. The report requirements and the business data are complex and the developer must be familiar with developing reports taking data from large complex multi-dimensional structures (SSAS) and working with complex hierarchies. The person should also be experienced with performance tuning reports and optimizing the MDX for optimal data retrieval.
Skills:
- Excellent experience in Microsoft BI technologies especially in SSRS and MDX development.
- Experience working with large complex cubes with hierarchical data.
- Practical experience of performance tuning and optimisation is also very important.
- Practical knowledge of SQL and .NET C# is also very beneficial.
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English is paramount.
- 5 years experiences in MSBI development.
- A Masters degree in computer science or similar is a plus.
- General Banking knowledge is a plus.
