Our client, a global bank based here in Zurich, is looking for a Infrastructure PM to join the team.
Please note candidates need good spoken German for this position, at least B2 level.
The Infrastructure area here in Switzerland is part of a global organisation with the aim to deliver either complex global or cross organizational infrastructure programs and projects to improve services for our customer and optimize processes, costs and operation world-wide.
The Job:
Managing IT infrastructure projects according to corporate standard project management methodology.
Plan project work
Manage dependencies and deliver results
Manage issues, risks and mitigation actions
Develop and manage stakeholders according to program or project governance
Manage reporting and sign-offs with senior stakeholders
Communicate to management, stakeholders, team members, and subject matter experts on different levels
Define, collect and monitor project metrics and manage project performance
Manage risk and issue tracking, ownership and resolution
Minimum of 8 years professional experience in People and Relationship Management
A degree, higher education in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent work experience
15 years' experience as a Project and Delivery Manager for IT infrastructure projects
Strong Project Management skills with a PMP or equal certification (eg PRINCE II)
Expertise in operation systems (UNIX, Windows, Linux and Storage infrastructure including virtual environments)
Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple and multi-cultural teams
Good organizational skills
Team player who can collaborate across multiple functional areas
Must be dedicated, driven and flexible to the changing dynamics of an operational function.
Experienced in working in an international environment
A good communicator who can write and speak clearly, concisely, and convincingly
A strong negotiator with the ability to work successfully with a large, diverse and demanding set of clients from the Front Office and the development technology functions and capable of managing differing client's priorities
Built and managed a high performing and diverse team of individuals across differing functional disciplines
A change agent capable of driving major change programs
An adaptable individual who remains focused on delivering a long term plan
A strong leader who is results driven and who constantly raises the bar
A self-starter capable of designing and implementing services

We are looking for candidates with:
Proven people management skills
Profound knowledge of Hardware, Networks, Storage, Virtualization and IT Security
Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Service Management capacity
ITIL Service Delivery qualification is desirable
Project Management skills
Excellent communication skills
Leadership skills and ability to drive for delivery
Extensive experience in implementation and methodologies
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills (internal and with external partners)
Fluent in German and English
Motivation and potential for further development
Proven IT infrastructure leadership and expertise in organization
Experience of managing suppliers in outsourcing contracts
Specific career development/growth opportunities associated with this position
Act as the lead Project Manager expert for IT infrastructure
