Windows System Administrator (German speaking) will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the Windows Server environment at a global investment bank including key components that provide Infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:
- Speak with third party vendors/suppliers to make sure provision of IT services are in line with SLA's.
- Installing/configuring and monitoring performance of software and hardware.
- Work within a team to provide 3rd line support to a global Windows server environment whilst identifying areas and processes for potential improvement or automation.
- Perform problem diagnosis, resolution and root cause analysis on all aspects of the Windows Server environment.
- Innovate solutions to problems and document these solutions for global implementation.

Requirements
- Fluent in German and English
- Must be able to demonstrate solid experience of working within a large-scale global Windows server environment.
- Experience with HP and IBM blade server hardware.
- Manage projects globally with effective communication and reporting at all levels.
- Demonstrate experience working on projects within small and large teams.
- Experience working within a financial institution/investment bank.
- Broad technical knowledge of the Windows Operating System Platform (Windows Server ) including core networking products (DNS, DHCP, WINS).
- Experience of problem solving and troubleshooting within a global Windows server environment.
- Strong experience of automated server build process - Management, troubleshooting and build-out.
- Microsoft Cluster troubleshooting and support within a global Windows server environment.
- Development skills (inc. VB, VBscript & ASP).
