We are looking for a professional and experienced 1st & 2nd Level Technical Supporter (Banking) for our client in Luxembourg.

Duties :

- Investigation and resolution of incoming issues (incidents, service requests) from Business according ITIL - based Incident Management process
- Active ownership of open incidents - ensure resolution or workaround and escalation to Problem Management as required
- Timely and accurate communication to Business and to other Support teams
- Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures
- Troubleshoot client machine, network connections, business applications, and special requirements problems
- Client machine, network connectivity (LAN/WAN),IP telephony, mobile & blackberry devices, printers, and video devices setup and configuration
- Manage Active directory accounts, GPO's and other Domain administrative tasks
- Manage tickets using the ticket tool
- Report critical issues to 3rd level support group and management as needed
- Perform in adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance
- Cross-training colleagues in the applications and underlying technologies and infrastructure applications landscape
- Engagement in knowledge transfer or Support hand-over process from 2nd/3rd level or vendors capture of Support requirements at an early stage and avoid loss of know-how
- In charge of VIP support on trading floor

Skills:

- 5+ Years of Experience in 1st & 2nd Level Support
- Must have worked in BFSI organizations (Banking/ Finance / Securities/ Insurance)
- VIP Trade Floor support experience would be an added advantage
- ITIL V3 Certification is an advantage
- Flexible Working, like extended hours and some weekends

Ability to be able to support applications in a trading environment including:

- Windows based applications including web applications, Bloomberg, Reuters Dealing
- Dealing with business queries within the trading & sales environment in a high-pressure business
- Ability to be able to communicate across a wide spectrum of stakeholders including senior managers within the business and IT
- Windows Active Directory – Uadmin skills
- Hardware preparation ( including assembling), Staging, profile configuration and delivery at client site
- Knowledge of banking environment required
- Should have excellent communication (Written & Spoken) Skills in English & German

Must have experience & Knowledge of:

- Apprenticeship in computer science
- Investment banking support experience
- Windows XP / Win7 – Microsoft products
- Mobile devices (Blackberries, iPhone & iPads)
- Network basics
- IPC Trading phone, IPT (IP Phones)

en - Englisch/English(Fluent)
