Role purpose:
As IT Communication Manager you support and drive effective communications for all projects within Global Infrastructure Services to help increase internal customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Main responsibilities:
* Support the Global Head PMO (Global infrastructure Services) in stakeholder management and advice in communication matters through close engagement with the PMO leadership team and the PM community
* Govern project communication and maintain and update the project communication strategy in collaboration with the Head of Global Infrastructure Services Communications and Head of Global IT Communications
* Responsible to drive a continual improvement role, where opportunities to improve and simplify project communication processes are identified, proposed and realized
* Develop and manage the communication needs and plans for larger projects
* Provide coaching to project managers regarding communication skills and capabilities
* Evangelize customer centricity and communications in all stakeholder engagement including Service Delivery and orchestrate the PMO service survey and support in project customer satisfaction surveys
* Develop and create content for stakeholder management and launch information in connection with project completion and launch announcements. This may include research, write and publish Intranet articles, updates and PowerPoint presentations as necessary
* Maintain full alignment with KAMs and PMOs from the Divisions, in order to share information and get the best possible control over the coming pipeline
* Drive engagement (internal within PMO) and with the key stakeholders of PMO by assuring information flow and supporting content delivery
* Drive best practices for collaboration for the PMO community (usage of emails, lync, phone, time mgmt. etc.)
Key skills / experience:
* Proven record of successfully managing communications for IT projects - essential understanding of IT Services and Project Communications
* Educated to at least Bachelor degree level (or equivalent)
* Experienced in interacting with senior management
* 8+years plus PR/communications experience
* Operating in large corporate environments, complex in structure, intercultural (preferred)
* Good and proven writing skills
* Crisis communication management
* Change management practice (preferred)
Language skills:
* Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
* German is a plus
