Business Analyst/Project Manager
Location: Zürich
Type: Contract
For our client in the banking sector in Zurich, we are currently searching for a Business Analyst/Project Manager within regulatory and Basel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The project comprises the following main tasks for the relevant work stream:
- Support the relevant stakeholders in developing and implementing the regulatory requirements in scope; responsibilities can range from feasibility studies, data analysis, conceptual design and testing
- Support the PB regulatory delivery lead in project managing the work stream; tasks range from tracking project progress to conducting workshops and trainings, review of documentation and ensuring proper testing preparation
- Close collaboration with stakeholders like representatives from Private Banking, Investment Banking, Finance, Risk Management and Information Technology
- High management attention in an international environment Embedded in a team of professionals obtaining a variety of backgrounds
- Working on regulatory-related topics that are shaping the future of the financial industry
- Broad exposure across the bank and development opportunities
Required Experience/Skills:
- Relevant work experience in business analysis, project management (ideally know how about IT projects) and/or consulting in the banking environment
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable building effective working relationships and partnership across different divisions, functions levels and cultures
- Good understanding of risk and finance functions within the financial sector
- Data reconciliation and reporting knowledge
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- English and German written and verbal communication
- Team player with strong analytical, conceptual, delivery-oriented and hands-on work style
