Our client is currently looking for specialist for an MS Office Upgrade resource requirement.
Project description:
- The scope of this project covers the support services for upgrading to MS Office 2013 and IE11.
- The current MS Office 2010 and IE9 are provided on Win7 environment.
- The major priority is to ensure the existing business applications are fully compatible and updated for the new versions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination with the business areas Roll-out coordination in close collaboration with the business areas.
- Provide technical service and support; assist on business application testing with Office 2013 and IE11 upgrade.
- There are various templates, macros used which were created in the older Office versions in order to reduce the risk of incompatible templates or macros.
- The developer should review and fix the possible compatibility issues and enable those for Office 2013 (eg possible changes in VB Scripts or templates). The compatibility issues will be reported by the business areas.
- Training for end-users - for end-user community: basic end-user training and advanced end-user training
- Workshops for developer community, the new development model for plug-ins should be presented to developer community - Apps for Office.
- Organize and hold corresponding workshops.
- In addition the service of updating/rewriting of the in-house plug-ins.
