In this role you will be part of our dynamic team to design, engineer and configure the firm's strategic log management solution based on a product called Splunk. This Zurich based role will serve and closely collaborate in a global context.
The Job:
- Application development, configuration and 3rd level support of our products
- Contribution on conceptual/architectural design and review for Log Management solution
- Collaboration with product management (based in Switzerland) to elaborate roadmaps
- Close and successful collaboration with third party vendor
We are looking for candidates with:
- Higher degree in IT or relevant working experience
- a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent conceptual and analytical capabilities
- Experience using Unix/Linux and software version control
- Solid development knowledge of at least one Object Oriented Language (eg .NET, JAVA, C++, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a global team with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Excellent written and oral skills in English
- Passion for development
Nice to have
- a background in Information Security technologies or in IT Log Management for example Splunk, Logstash, Loggly, ArcSight
- Understanding of Scripting languages and web frameworks. Any experience with Perl, Python, PHP or LAMP is considered only a plus
- Any of industry recognized engineering and security certifications will be an advantage: ITIL, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001
- Spoken German is considered only a plus
