Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 2910 for an IT Business Analyst (f/m) with Insurance Know-How.Project environment
A global Swiss Reinsurance Company is looking for a Business Analyst to work in Finance IT. The main focus will be on the migration of the in-house built Group Reserving Tool onto the Finance IT platform.
Tasks
• Gather and analyse the requirements for the new solution in close cooperation with business experts and application engineers.
• Translate requirements into system specifications, covering all aspects of the new solution (functional / non-functional requirements, process and / or data models,...)
• Work closely with the application engineers in the implementation phase and ensure correct understanding and implementation of business requirements.
• Perform and document system tests.
• Communicate with (international) user community and decision makers.
• Plan and steer the user acceptance test including rollout.
• Document the solution, both for internal and external use.
Requirements
• At minimum 5 years of experience in IT projects.
• University degree (or similar) in
o Business Administration or Economics with good mathematical understanding, or
o Mathematics or Natural Sciences with good business understanding.
• Alternatively higher professional education (information management or similar).
• Knowledge in DB2, SQL & Excel.
• Know-how in insurance, reinsurance or actuarial analysis would be an asset.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Readiness for close teamwork.
• English is a must, German a plus.
