Senior BI Business Analyst Finance - Basel - 6 months +
A Senior BI Business Analyst is required for a minimum of 6 months in Basel, Switzerland.
The ideal Senior BI Business Analyst will be needed for the following;
High Level Responsibilities:
? Interview the Business K-Users and collect Business Requirements
? Liaise with stakeholders
? Identify TO BE data source
? Responsible for analysing data flow and translating the Business
requirements into technical specifications.
? Support Business K-Users to prioritize reports based on business
criticality
? Support Business K-Users to evaluate possible workaround (eg available
SAP Transaction covering critical fields: Manual extraction from SAP in
combination with data aggregation done in excel)
? Support Business K-Users/Business SMEs in Test Scenarios preparation
(Data required) & execution - based on the requirements stated in the
Business Requirements document.
Execute System Test
? Support Business SMEs Execute Test Scenarios for UAT
? Prepare the required Project Documentation deliverables (eg: Functional
Specification, Test Report)
? Prepare Training Materials
? Execute Training to K-Users
Job Candidate Requirements:
? 5 years (Minimum) expertise in Business Processes and System Analysis
with SAP FI, SAP CO
? Experience with BW Extractors on SAP BW
? Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to understand
complex information and assess requirements
? Experience in complex and integrated project
? Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams
? Ability to build pro-active, co-operative working relationships with peers
and key stakeholders based on respect and team work
? Ability to act under strong pressure and to manage crisis situations
efficiently
? Experience in the life science industry is considered a plus
? Fluent English language skills (written and spoken); German skills are an
advantage
? Willingness and ability to travel
Education and Certifications:
? Master Degree in Informatics, Business or equivalent degree and/or
experience
