Candidate will be involved in the research and analysis of CMS platforms that with interface with Global Mobile App. Under limited supervision, the Analyst delivers technology solutions (eg, custom applications, vendor/off-the-shelf applications) that meet business needs. This is accomplished by combining subject-matter-expertise in a specific technology area (eg, coding in a certain language/platform/package, systems analysis, systems/application testing, etc.) with knowledge of the targeted business function. Key customers include users of the solution, and the leadership of those departments.

Responsibilities:
  • May assist project leadership in designing the approach for a project, estimating/planning, and setting technical direction.
  • Write specifications that will meet the business needs, legal requirements, and comply with applicable standards.
  • Look for ways to improve the development process.
  • Act as consultant to development groups to enhance existing business applications and to facilitate the definition of solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Provide input into implementation plans for projects.
  • Ensure that all related applications are consistent with overall organization business strategies.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Participate in developing standards for a particular area of expertise.
  • Determine design strategy and provide systems design in a specialized and highly complex area.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to design and monitor necessary testing and implementation plans.
  • Participate in long-range planning for new or existing systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies/legal requirements, and where appropriate, make recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
  • Strive to maintain an understanding of other technology and/or business initiatives outside of current projects to ensure alignment and integration where possible.
  • Create and/or review manuals, how-to procedures, and related user documentation in a variety of formats.
  • Ensure documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience.
  • Code, test, troubleshoot, and document programs according to systems standards.
  • Interface with vendors to troubleshoot, apply patches, and ensure the effectiveness of vendor supplied packages.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure specialists to leverage infrastructure capabilities and expertise in optimizing designs and applications
  • May provide on-call emergency support services for critical applications.
  • Respond to questions from clients and analyze "What if?" scenarios.
  • May Participate in vendor conferences and/or vendor referrals.
  • Will need to have hands on skills, but will be working an advisory role with offshore support.
  • Will be troubleshooting and offloading work to offshore team. Some participation in client meetings.
SKILLS:

Technical Skills/Experience:
  • 6+ years as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst working with both IT and business teams.
  • 6+ years of leading software life cycle development.
  • Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, VB/VBA, SQL Developer, TOAD, adhoc reporting, table and database analysis.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, ASP/.NET, JAVA/JavaScript, Unix, SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Project.
  • 4+ years of vendor management.
  • B.S. in Information Systems or related field required.
  • Experience working as a Support Analyst.
  • Basic understanding of network and Firewall configurations.

  • Experience with enterprise 3rd party Application (eg Digital Assets Management, Workflow.)
  • Ability to build strong relationships between teams.
  • Must be able to understand wide variety of technologies. Single Sign on, Web services.
  • Must have the tenacity to make connections with others in the organization to resolve data issues.
