A Swiss Bank is looking for a Business Analyst in Regulatory Reporting with substantial Architecture & Data Modelling background.
Tasks
The bank is about to introduce a new regulatory reporting platform as for following purposes:
• Swiss National Bank Reporting (SNB-Reporting)
• Basel-3 Reporting (according to BIS resp. Swiss Finish)
• Liquidity Reporting
• Own internal Reporting
As the setup of a pragmatic, usable, scalable, performant data model is the base for future growth within the regulatory reporting, they are looking for a highly experienced Oracle/PL SQL DATA MODELLER with background in regulatory reporting and prior exposure to similar projects within Swiss banks.
Requirements
• Proven record of strong and long-lasting experience in Oracle/PL SQL data modelling in the regulatory reporting space (financial industry).
• Good understanding of Regulatory Reporting especially SNB, Basel 3 and Liquidity Reporting. Proficiency in a Universal Bank’s product structure and versed in product specific reporting requirements.
• Strong experience in implementing regulatory reporting process with understanding of banking data attributes to optimally support the specific business needs balancing redundancy vs. usability vs. scalability.
• Strong background in recent regulatory change matters impacting the Swiss banking space on an international level (FATCA, MIFID, Dodd-Franks, TBTF, etc.) would be an advantage.
• Strong ETL experience resp. experience in DWH-like projects will be preferable.
• Leverage and enforce standards for data naming conventions to ensure consistency and reuse of data models.
• Fluent in German and English.
Workload: 100% until 31.03.2015, then single days until rest of year
