Senior Authentication Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Senior Authentication Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Define use cases, detailed technical specification and security baseline
- Evaluate, design and rate possible solutions and build a PoC
- Setup an build and packaging environment
- QA: define test plan and execute tests
- Write operational manual and train operation team
- Manage unknown software issues/defects
- Perform security vulnerability assessment and plan software maintenance activities
- Report status/issues and project progress proactive
- Provide 3rd level production support
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years' experience in building/configuring Apache httpd server 2.x/Apache modules (mod_proxy_wstunnel, mod_security) from source code
- Strong UNIX (Solaris 10/RedHat 5/6) knowledge and Shell Scripting skills
- Solid C and C build tools knowledge (gcc, configure, make)
- Web security/web application Firewall, intrusion detection system knowledge
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Technical background in TCP/IP and related protocols HTTP, HTTPS, Websocket, DNS, etc. Ability to perform network packet analysis
- Mutual SSL/TLS and PKI knowledge
- CA Siteminder know how is a plus
