Business Analyst

Regulatory Trade Reporting is a global Credit Suisse PM &WM project that is part of the Global OTC Derivatives Program (GODP). It has the goal to deliver an integrated regulatory trade reporting platform for the PB & WM's global derivatives trading business.

The project is based in Zurich, but has global scope.

The role is for an business analyst with experience of sub-stream or sub-project management. It requires the analysis, definition and control of the business requirements of one or more Credit Suisse branches or businesses with independent derivative trading activities (eg Asset Management) and coordination of the overall project delivery to ensure that these requirements are addressed. The role requires both the ability to provide classical business analysis support and also the ability to manage and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of demanding business stakeholders are met. The role will require either working independently, or managing a small team under the guidance of project and program management.

Experienced business analyst with project management experience to analyze and document the business requirements, data mappings and processes relating to regulatory derivatives trade reporting (FinfraG, EMIR), and to work closely with Business and IT organizations to ensure the delivery of a fully compliant trade reporting solution for a specific business area.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experienced business analyst
  • Handling of complex business problems with multiple dependencies
  • Business requirement analysis and documentation
  • Banking/financial services background
  • Familiarity with financial derivatives (listed and OTC, all asset classes)
  • Working jointly with an IT organization to develop an effective business solution
  • Ability to work independently on a defined problem area
  • English speaking environment

Desirable/Advantageous:

  • Project management experience
  • Recent regulatory project experience, ideally in the trade reporting area (esp. EMIR)
  • Technical/IT background advantageous (esp. trading systems)
