For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team.
The Job:
- Analyze and understand regulatory issues in connection with regulatory programs such as Dodd Frank, EMIR, OTC Russia, OTC Canada, FATCA, etc
- Ensure amendments of existing processes in order to facilitate smooth run the bank processes
- Review and clean-up of provided client lists and drive the necessary actions with business partners
- Play an active role to ensure client outreaches in a timely and professional manner
- Close cooperation with Program Management Offices
- Deliver a scalable solution that ensures Operations are fully compliant with Regulatory Requirements
- Oversee and or conduct detailed business analysis, produce timely, clear and concise business requirement and options
- Work closely with the Project lead to ensure that risk, issues are escalated in a timely fashion for decision in the steer co.
- Accurate and equivalent central reporting of the project status to the Project working group
- Plan and coordination of the finalization and hand-over of the project to the Run-the-Bank teams
- Closes project (incl. lessons learned) and tracks and remaining issues for resolution/handover.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in project/analysis management
- Ideally FX/PM product experience, Operations and or Middle Office experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Good technical and workflow know-how
- Capable to run workshops with different project members
- Target-oriented, solution-driven
- Contemporary leadership skills (Motivator)
- Good communication and presentation skills across different management levels
- Fluent in English and German
Please note this contract should run for 8 months. Initially it is for November and December 2014. There is a 90% chance the contact will then be extended from January until June 2015.
