For our client's project in Basel we are looking for an
Infrastructure Architect (m/f)
Tasks
- Supervision of the CH+AT Automatic Backup and Control Solution
- Coordination of all maintenance and development activities
- Coordination over all needed subservices (like data gathering via Tivoli, like web portal via SM)
- Being focal point for Account teams, Service Management in case of requests, information needs, troubleshooting activities and Incident Management
- Developing and defining new functional enhancements to improve and extend service portfolio
- Guide, advice and support solution deployment to new accounts
Qualifications:
- TCP/IP/network skills
- OS Administrator skills: basic level good enough on AIX, Linux - in depth knowhow on Wintel
- Basic to in depth knowledge of Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM - for OS and extended versions), Tivoli Data Protection (TPC), Symantec Backup Exec and Symantec NetBackup and related backup concepts
- Scripting on Wintel plattform
- Good Java skills
- Good Infrastructure/Application Architecture skills/flair for doing architecture work
- Capability to understand (customer) requirements and to transfer them into detailed solution designs
- Good English is a MUST (written and spoken), German is an option
- Good communication and presentations skills
- Highly motivated, taking ownership, flexible, stress resistent
