Role: Software Test Automation Engineer ( 100%).

Start: ASAP - June 2015 with possible extension.

Rates: CHF 614 all inclusive daily rate.

Location: Area Zug.

Main tasks and duties:

  • Analysis of a test object and creation of automated test cases
  • Elaboration, development and maintenance of test frameworks for integration, system or acceptance test level
  • Creation and maintenance of automated tests for software products
  • Train and support test analysts to create automated tests as well as to analyse and report results of automated tests
  • Establish standards and guidance for architecture and development to get testable and test automation optimized test objects
  • Cooperation with DevOps regarding build management and tooling
  • Providing input to continually improve V&V processes, testing efficiency, and product quality
  • Leading or participating in V&V improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant QAPs and Working Instructions
  • Coaching team members in product and testing topics.
  • Permanently optimize processes to increase quality and efficiency standards

Requirements:

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master or bachelor degree in IT or comparable professional experience
  • Direct experience with software test automation, including knowledge of testing processes, methodologies and tools
  • Experience in software development - preferably in C#
  • Mobile testing (iOS and/or Android)
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral)
  • Desire to learn and to achieve results

Experience with the following would be beneficial:

  • HP Quality Center/ALM, TFS, Ranorex, SpecFlow
  • Performance or security testing skills
