Our client, a major international bank, is currently looking for a JAVA developer
The consultant would be in charge of the new Browser-interface. This includes development of the software (analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation), participation and contribution to the project planning as well as setting up the workspace environment, ie the ECLIPSE workbench, compile procedures, source code versioning etc.
Technical skills
- Sound knowledge of Java and Java Servlets with Apache Tomcat
- Practical project knowledge on writing REST Web Services using Jersey or a similar Framework
- Very good skills in writing and understanding complex SQL queries, preferably on MS SQL Server
- Good knowledge of Front End technologies like AngularJS, JavaScript, JSON and CSS
- Familiar with Maven, Maven Lifecycle and its dependency management
- Experience with Eclipse IDE
- Understanding and experience with security related aspects (authentication, encryption)
Methodologies and processes
- Basic knowledge of agile Software development processes and the concepts of Sprints, Burn down-Graph, Planning and Retrospective
- Test methodologies and tools
- Experience in discussing requirements with end users
- Fluent in English
