Business Analyst/Regulatory reporting- INVESTMENT BANKING
Business Analyst/Testing/Software Development - INVESTMENT BANKING.
An investment bank is urgently seeking a business analyst with technical experience of software development and testing capabilities. You will be working within the Compliance & Operational Risk Control IT on a platform for recording, reporting and processing financial events arising from operational risks.
You will be producing Business Requirements, Specifications and Application Requirement Specifications. In conjunction with that the successful candidate will actively participating in software development as part of an Agile Scrum team and manage all testing aspects of the project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
- Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
Key Deliverable:
- Process documentation
- Business requirements documentation
- Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
Background
- Degree in business administration and/or systems engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Analyst in the financial industry
- Experience with client data confidentiality, accounting and payments
- Experience with data and process modelling
- Experience with Web application
- Software development background (Java/WebSphere, Oracle, UNIX) is a bonus.
- Risk control experience, in particular operational risk, is a bonus
