For our client in Zurich we are searching an IT Security Engineer
IT Security Engineer for Security Operation Center
Tasks:
1) FWCR implementation on CheckPoint, Juniper, Sidewinder according to the high standard;
2) Troubleshooting and incident handling & support;
3) Shell Scripting documentation, improvement and training and know-how sharing in SOC
Main responsibilities:
-Firewall, Proxy and IDS/IPS security policy implementation, configuration, audit and compliance;
-Firewall, Proxy and IDS/IPS-related incident handling;
-Install and upgrade of security devices;
-Disaster and Recovery of security devices;
-Participation in change, capacity, problem and life cycle managements;
-Execution of necessary actions to address security events/incidents;
-High and intensive Customer interaction.

Skills Must:
-Good understanding of networking design principles and protocols (eg TCP/IP, IPv4 and preferably IPv6)
-Good understanding of OSI Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4-7 networking concepts
-Experience with one or more security technologies include different Firewall platforms (Check Point, Juniper, Sidewinder and Palo Alto), BlueCoat proxies and Palo Alto IDS/IPS is essential;
-Hands-on experience in security policy configuration and implementation and/or operation of one or more security technologies such as Firewalls, Proxy, intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus and content filtering, URL filtering, authentication solutions, VPN, RAS are required;
-Strong experience in troubleshooting.
-Shell Scripting know-how and experience on Linux is a significant plus.
-Certifications in any of above-mentioned Internet Security Systems technologies will be considered an advantage.
