For a project at our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a German speaking Application Developer with VBA (2291)
In this role you are mainly developing, implementing and modifying solutions for an existing MS SQL Database. You design and customize applications for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Main job responsibilities:
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
In order to be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications/knowhow:
Deep understanding in MS Products, VBA, MS SQL Server, Scrum, Sharepoint
Some years experience with VBA
Experience in connecting MS SQL Server with MS Office Suite via VBA
General strong knowledge of application and software development
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
Fluent in German/English
