For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced German speaking Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer with solid knowhow of withholding tax projects for a six month contract in Zurich on a project running until the end of 2015.
Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer, FATCA/Withholding Tax Project, German and English (Contract, Zurich)
In your role as Lead Business Analyst/Requirement Engineer you will analyse tax regulation and work with various business partners.
Furthermore you will have the following tasks:
- Supports business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future
- Understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view
- Obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements
- Develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
- Identify synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project's plans, work products, business strategy and the overall context in the application and technical architecture
In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- At least 5 years' experience as a business analyst in the financial services sector
- Strong banking-knowhow about tax processes, namely FATCA, US Withholding Tax or European Withholding Tax Project experience
- Deep knowledge and understanding of bank end to end processes and financial instruments
- Profound knowledge of UML and use case modelling
- Fluency in English (German is strongly encouraged as you will be liaising with German speaking stakeholders)
