German speaking Lead Java Developer/Architect
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a German speaking Lead Java Developer/Architect. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Description:
- Lead developer having end-to-end responsibility for all technical aspects of a
project, including development, testing, effort estimation, application design,
coding standards, problem resolution etc. - Controls quality of application development by making sure the architecture and
development guidelines/rules are followed - Manages the knowledge base for the projects and IT solutions they work on
- Conducts design and code reviews
- Communicates project status, resource constraints, and open issues to the project
manager on a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Must-have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Must-have very strong development and technical skills Java/J2EE, Spring,
Hibernate, Database, Web Applications, Security - Must-have 8+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation and
support of large complex environments - Must-have Excellent design skills
- Must-have good knowledge of design/modelling standards (UML, design patterns etc.)
- Must-have good knowledge of database design
- Good-to-have 12+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation and
support of large complex environments - Good-to-have experience with Oracle, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Sun Solaris
- Good-to-have experience with integrating standard products into a complex
Environment - Good-to-have Working experience in financial industry
- Language skills: English and German
