Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting - Banking
Business Analyst with extensive regulatory reporting experience is sought by our client, a major Swiss Bank located in Zurich. The role is within a small team where quality and speed are vital - the successful candidate will be a self-starter who can effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders including subject-matter experts, project managers, other business analysts and senior management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and devising a reporting solution that will act as an overview of the new service line.
Activities:
- Act as a senior Business Analyst to set up the reporting structure for the regulatory reporting service line
- Deep-dive analysis and resolution finding
- Functional specification creation after liaising with SMEs
- Analyse legal entities within the regulatory space
- Prepare clear but informative presentations for utilisation by senior management in a decision making process
- Planning and executing migration tasks
- Planning and executing implementation activities and testing
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Regulatory Transaction Reporting (Dodd Frank, EMIR etc.)
- At least five years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a business change function
- Effective team player with a focused approach to on-time delivery.
- Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills including oral and written English and German
- Confident interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively within a global organisation
- Resilient to stress, maintaining a high standard of work
