Junior Batch Developer
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for a Junior Batch Developer. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Description:
We are looking for an experienced Batch Developer with good communication and organizational skills. You define and implement requirements for exchanging data between applications in close collaboration with stakeholders of different projects. You are the direct contact for the IT/PL and you are responsible for the complete batch development process; analysis of requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment including planning. You will also provide 3rd level support for the related applications.
Please note that this is an ideal opportunity for young graduates as this is a "grow your own" role and as such suited to a candidate with a good degree and ideally some work experience with some of the relevant skills below.
Job profile
- Practical knowledge in Java, Unix and SQL
- Practical knowledge in asynchronous data exchange, preferably Control-M
- Preferably you have knowledge about the Java Springbatch frame work
- Practical knowledge about all phases of a development process
- Good communication and organizing skills
- Preferably brings knowledge about different notations like UML and applied tools eg Visio and Enterprise Architect
- Willingness to challenge and to seek for creative solution
- Fluent communication and written skills in English and ideally German
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar
- Any other relevant degree or certification are also welcome
