Lead Business Analyst - Regulation and Securities - Investment Banking
Business Analyst is required by a leading Investment Bank to work on a FIRM-WIDE project which has been initiated in response to the changing regulatory landscape. This Global Project had initiated and overall target operating for the firm as well as its legal structure have been defined, the project has now moved into an implementation phase.
Objectives:
You are taking over an important business analyst role within the stream "Collateral & Margining Management" as part of the overall Operations Program Implementation. You will be working in a small and flexible team (dedicated analyst and several subject matter experts). The project you will be leading is key in regard to enable successful implementation of collateral management for the new legal entity structure. It includes coverage of OTC, ETD SBL (Securities Borrowing & Lending) collateralization as well as the CHF-REPO.
Main Activities:
* Act as business analyst for collateral management stream which will include supporting stream lead/project manager and senior business analysts in all tasks relating to project management (planning, coordination, prioritization, resourcing and team/SME organization, stakeholder management, communication and documentation) to facilitate delivery in time
* Ensure monitoring and reporting of program progress, dependencies, risks and issues throughout the project and stream
* Interact closely with the highly integrated stakeholder environment
* Prepare meaningful presentations as basis for decision making for senior management and stakeholder
* Active lead for target setup definition including f2b value chain design, business requirement (functional requirements, business configuration and migration strategy) beside problem resolution workouts as well as subsequent testing and implementation phase
Requirements:
* University degree or equivalent certificate
* Several years business analysis experience in large-scale and multi-location projects in banking/IT environment (Collateral & Margining Management, Securities Borrowing & Lending, REPO, OTC-Derivatives or FX trading/Operations experience a plus)
* Delivery focused, high-energy, hands-on and independent team player with pro-active leadership personality
* Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities as well as highly developed skills to structure/organize complex topics and tasks
* Well developed communication skills including oral and written English language
* Ability to lead, mobilize and guide multiple stakeholders through all aspects of project life cycle, with specific focus on Testing, Migration and Operational Go-Live
* Willing to perform to a high standard and demonstrate resilience to stress
* Strong interpersonal skills including confident manner to work in a global organization
