For a global bank based here in Zurich we are looking for a Controller to join the team.
Working as a member of the IT Finance Business Controlling team for Wealth Management (WM), you will be working with the IT Finance CFO's to support the CIO's and COO's, with all financial issues.
This will largely involve preparing monthly Flash and forecast reports, providing variance analysis and commentary, as well as completing reports and adhoc requests for senior management.
The Job
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Monthly variance analysis of forecast to actuals
- Production of monthly producer and consumer forecasts
- Preparation of monthly CIO meeting reports
- Review and approval of business cases
- Review and approval of externals deals
- Overhead analysis
- Point of contact for all financial issues and concerns
- Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports
We are looking for candidates with:
- Qualified accountant or part qualified or Finance graduate with 3+ years post qualified experience
- Candidates must know about and have experienced month end cycles
- Must be able to identify problems with ledgers
- IT cost reporting experience
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to work in an ever changing environment and with off shore colleagues
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner and under time pressure
- Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
