IT Finance Business controller

IT Finance Business Controller required immediately by our client for an extremely exciting new contract role. Working within the IT Finance Business Controlling team, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills in order to be able to effectively communicate between IT and the business. This is an opportunity to be a part of a vital team and to help decide the business direction for this division.
Role description
Responsibilities include:
- Variance analysis of forecast to actuals
- Production of producer and consumer forecasts
- Monthly production of CIO meeting reports
- Review and approval of business cases and external deals
- Overhead analysis
- Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports
- To be a point of contact for all financial issues and concerns
Role requirements
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years of post qualified experience
- Graduate with Accounting/Business/finance degree
- IT cost reporting and forecasting experience is essential
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment and to communicate effectively with off shore colleagues
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to quickly and effectively deliver high quality results under time pressure
- Excellent command MS Excel
- Fluent English skills
