Application Service Manager - z/OS, DB2, IMS, architecture
Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for an Application Service Manager for one of our major clients, a global bank headquartered in Zurich.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
The international team, "Performance Management" is responsible within the area of "Classic Application Services" for the optimisation of the Swiss banking and global core banking applications in the Mainframe environment.
The position involves particularly proactive project consultancy, support to the developer in tuning and performance situations, as well as participation in task forces and critical situations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
- At least 3-5 years Mainframe experience with knowledge of Application Performance Management
- Sound knowledge in the z/OS environment and the respective performance and consumption-oriented tools and products
- Very good DB2 and IMS expertise
- In-depth understanding of the complex technical environment and architecture (applications, software and hardware)
- Very good command of spoken and written, German skills are an advantage
- Proactive and solution-oriented person who enjoys working in a team
