Business Architect - TOM - Contract - Banking Switzerland Zurich - English/German language

Our client a Global Outsourcing organisation are looking for a number Business Architects to join their onsite project team at their Global banking client based in Switzerland. This role is to analyse the current business unit or line of business and makes recommendations pertaining to the projects that the business unit should perform, in addition to relevant and timely corrections to the governance structure, business processes and reviewing the current capacity plan within the unit. The primary focus includes the analysis of business processes, through the use of business analysis framework.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a Target Operating Models
  • Be able to drawn up process flows based on the requirements provided by the business
  • Define data elements shared between the business units and other units in the organization and the relationship between those data elements and processes, people, systems
  • Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement
  • Functions as a liaison to Business and IT partners
  • Be able to deliver during tight deadlines.
  • Identify gaps and provide recommendation for areas of improvement.
  • Take ownership and a hands on' approach to define and deliver a program of work to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of a core business process.
  • Be able to write a up a business case, conduct a cost benefit analysis
  • Skills

  • The ability to visualize and create high level operating models
  • Some experience in modelling business process using a variety of tools and techniques.(BPMN)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization includes written and verbal communication
  • Be able to provide detailed minutes after every meeting
  • Creative thinking/Thinking out of the box
  • Aware of some modelling techniques such as SIPOC, partner model
  • Systems - MS Project, excel, PowerPoint, Igrafx (not a must, but good to have )
  • Six Sigma - Green Belt (preferably)
  • Soft skills - Presentation, negotiation
  • IB knowledge
