My well known Financial Services client, with a major operation in the Ticino (Southern) region of Switzerland, has a new requirement for a senior Java Solutions Architect/Engineer to start on a new long running contract ASAP. This is an external/contract position.
Please note: Due to Swiss legal/visa restrictions, only applications from EU citizens can be accepted at this time.
The role is to provide Java solutions architecture, development and engineering for a credit risk web application which is used by this client globally.

- Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect/Engineer
- JavaEE, EJB, JPA, JSF, JMS, Facelets, Eclipse, Subversion, Weblogic, JUnit, Continuous Integration, JUnit, Oracle 11g, PL/SQL
- UML and related
- Multi-layered architectures, design/architecture patterns, complex applications
- Ideally you will have worked in the Banking/Finance domain on risk systems related applications - but this is not essential
